FAQ

What kind of GPU does RainbowCrack support?

Only GPUs from NVIDIA are supported by RainbowCrack. Full list can be found at NVIDIA's website.

Normally more expensive GPUs provide better hash cracking performance. Technically, actual performance depends on GPU architecture, number of stream processors and the shader clock.

To use multiple GPUs in a system is only guaranteed to work if these GPUs are of the same type. This requirement comes from NVIDIA's document. RainbowCrack software is well tested to make full use of all GPUs.
